The Climate in the Arctic is changing. The days are getting warmer, the
permafrost is melting and the ice that covers the ocean is
disappearing. Accustomed to their life in perpetual cold Team Polar
Bear has traveled south to discover what's happening to the snow and
ice they used to take for granted.

What they discover is that
it's not only their home that's under threat. Winter itself is in
jeopardy. For years Canadian's have joked about no longer needing a
February vacation in Florida but now the true reality of Global Warming
is hitting home. Warmer days could spell the end of pond hockey and ice
castles, the slopes of Canada's great ski mountains could go bare and
in the countries capital, Ottawa, skating on the Rideau Canal may
eventually be no more.
The Polar Bears' mission to save their home becomes a mission to save Winter itself. But save it from what?
The
Polar Bears discover a deep secret at the centre of the disappearing
snow. Canada, the country that prides itself on its frosty fortitude,
is itself one of the largest per capita contributors to heat trapping
gas emissions. And in the heart of the Great Nation is one of the
Dirtiest Projects on Earth. The Alberta Tar Sands.
Can team
Polar bear save their home and in the process Save Winter, or will
the forces of big oil prevail and change Canada forever?
